Like many serial killers, Ivan Milat grew up in a dysfunctional family. By 24 Margaret had four children: Olga, Alexander, Mary and Boris. The Milat's were poor, his father was frequently violent, and his mother was often pregnant; the upbringing was unstable and lacked any real parenting.
